Camera Guide
No proprietary hardware. Just better tours.
Aubni 360 works with the 360° camera you already own — Insta360, Ricoh Theta, GoPro Max, or DSLR with fisheye. Pick your camera type below for a step-by-step setup guide.
⭐Already have a 360° camera? Start in the 360° Cameras tab. If you’re new, the Insta360 X4 or Ricoh Theta Z1 are the industry favorites.
Why photographers choose this: The X4 delivers 72MP 360° photos with exceptional dynamic range for interiors. One-click capture, invisible selfie stick effect, and a workflow so fast you can complete a 5-room home in under 40 minutes from shoot to publish.
1
Set shooting mode
Insta360 app → Shooting Mode → 360° Photo. Use RAW+JPEG for editing flexibility, or JPEG-only for fastest workflow.
2
Set white balance manually
Never use Auto WB when shooting multiple rooms — your tour will have mismatched colors. Set a fixed WB (e.g. 4500K) and lock it for the entire property.
3
Camera placement
Mount on a pole or tripod at 5–6 feet (eye level). Center the room. The X4’s invisible selfie stick mode removes the pole automatically in post.
4
Export from the Insta360 app
Export → Photo → Equirectangular. Resolution: max available. Format: JPEG quality 95+.
Export: Equirectangular JPG Resolution: 11968 × 5984 (max) Quality: High Result: ✅ Upload directly to Aubni 360
